I am planning a long weekend trip up to Montreal in April. The weekend
we are looking at is April 18th, which happens to be Easter weekend.
Will this be a good weekend to travel to Montreal? Will clubs, and
restaurants be open the evening of the 19th? Would you recommend
making it another weekend, or will this weekend be the same as any
other? Any info would be appreciated.

I am not exactly old (35), but I can remember a time when bars closed
Holy Thursday at midnight, and reopened Good Friday at midnight.
That's not the case anymore. Bars are allowed to remain open
throughout Holy Week - no problem. That would be a good time to come
to Montr�al - the weather should be predictable by then. And I think
the Guggenheim show at the Montr�al Museum of Fine Arts is on until
late April.
