[Cross posted in ASKENET and BOOKS] I am looking for a copy of 'Eye Opener Bob: The Story of Bob Edwards', by Grant MacEwan. It was published by the Institute of Applied Art, Ltd, in Edmonton, Alberta, copyright 1957. If anyone has one, or can put me in touch with a good out-of-print bookshop or dealer in Alberta, I'd appreciate it. Please follow up with useful information to BOOKS note 1241. The Sarnia and Grand Canal info should stay in this conference :-) Rob

"Paranoid, or what??!!" -- You mean I have a choice, Mr. Geeeesh? The real reason for keeping S and the GC in this conference is simple: if word about them gets out, they'll be swamped by millions of rude Yankee tourists in loud shirts, and then you'll all blame me and post my picture in every Canadian Post Office. At the rate Canada Post works, that means in 5 or 6 years I'll be a marked man :-) Paranoid, indeed. Good thing the mounties wear those red coats: makes it easy for me to tell when I'm being tailed. I have just finished rereading 'Eye Opener Bob'. Many thanks to Al James for finding it in his 'rare book' collection. Rob |
