I looked up some stuff in the Edmonton Yellow pages
a) The Jazz City International Jazz Festival is running from June 27
to July 8. Phone (403)-433-3333 for more info.
b) The Edmonton Folk Music Festival is running from August 9 to
August 11. Phone (403)-429-1899 for info.
c) The Fring Festival is running from August 17 to August 25. Sorry
I haven't found a phone number for this yet, but I'll keep looking.
