441.0. "Information about Edmonton." by GIDDAY::GREAVES () Mon May 06 1991 04:22

    G'day from the land down under.

    This is just a note for some information on Edmonton. My daughter has
    been chosen for the Aussie swim team to contest the PAN-PAC's in
    Edmonton in August.

    I may be able to manage some leave then, so I was wondering if anyone
    can give me the address of the Edmonton tourist bureau so I can find
    out about Hotels,Motels, and any other points of interest in the area?

    	Thanks

    	Mike G.

Simon Treadaway @ CAO might be able to give you some advice on the area.
He lived in Calgary (just down the road from Edmonton) for several years.

If you do contact him, please say "Hello" for me!

    G'day again,

    Thanks for all the information. Simon works up on the next floor from
    me here in Canberra. I must go up and ask him his views. I did live in
    Toronto for 3 years in 1967-1970 during the Yorkville era, I guess
    it'll be changed by now. In fact the Maple Leafs actually won the
    Stanley Cup that year.

    Thanks again
