| I should have known it would have been you, Pat! :-)
ESPN is showing the game the Saturday afternoon. They said that they
are going to show it LIVE. How the hell they're going to manage that
when the game was played last weekend, is a bit hard to understand.
But I'm not surprised by anything the satellite stations claim anymore.
They're a shower of bleedin' liars, Patrick.
Thanks,
Ted.

| And next year the Geek Cup is going to be offered to the winning team after
they climb out of their sandbox in Winterpeg. That should guarantee that
the Bummers win again since they will be acclimatised to the -50C weather.
I was so dismayed by the lacklustre play that I went out and bought a video
tape ($20) on Aussie Rules Football - now there's a game!!
Ted, watch a Hurling match instead, you're wasting your time on ESPN and the
Geek Cup.

Good ole' Peg wins the Grey Cup. Good to see (one of) my old home towns
doin well.
Whaddya mean, -50C ????
AND the rest !!!!!
(Jeez, I remember walking to Hedges Junior High, across a huge field
with nothing between me and the North Pole but a few polar bears .
BTW Is the corner of Portage and Main STILL the coldest place in Canada,
with the wind chill factor ?)

| Pat,
I hate hurling. It's bush league. They all look pale and sloppy. There
isn't a single player that can keep his socks up. Not only that but
it's literally amazing that you find about 6 different colored helmets
on the same team. No style. Give me good ol' hockey anytime. All sports
in Ireland are bush-league.

| After viewing the 1984 Grand Final in Melbourne, I have to conclude
that Aussie Rules Football is the best sport on foot-and-ground. The
only other sport that might exceed it for exhilaration is ice-hockey.

| Your reference to Australian No-Rules Football as a "sport" makes me
wonder if you're as sane as I thought you were. However, me calling
hockey a sport is the same isn't it Pat. No wonder we get along.
