| Didn't cha know the purpose of this accord is to approve the
Grand Canal as a coast to coast national waterway inthe hope that
it will bind the country togethr like the railway did at confederation.
The relationship with Hudson Bay is because the Canal will get its
water feed from Hudson Bay, and will drain into the Mississippi.

somewhere else?
If it's the somewhere else, do we have to re-acidify the water before
it crosses the border?

how all the sewage entered the river at Carleton Place? Did
the town women go swimming again?

| Re: all
The so-called Hudson Bay Accord was initiated by the Prime Mover, Brain
Baloney whilst vacationing on Mississippi Lake near Carleton Place. The
resultant out-pouring from his vile orifice caused the subsequent fouling
of pristine beaches and Evian water supplies. The instant that he stopped
his babbling, the ecosystem began to revive and repair the damage, causing
many citizens in the bustling metropolises of Carleton Place, Glen Isle,
Appleton, Almonte, Blakeny and lesser burghs downstream along the mighty
Mississippi River to cavort into the night in unbounded revelry and finally
ending in a sustained, unified mass expulsion of flatus in the direction
of the hastily constructed effigy of the Right Horrible, Brain Macaroni.
In retribution for Newfoundland's refusal to ratify the Screech Accord, the
federal Conservative government has removed the Atlantic terminus of the
Grand Canal from Joe Batt's Arm and are to construct it on the site of
remains of the house that at one time existed at 15 Mary Street, Coleman
Island in Almonte. Thus, the linkage with the Mississippi River has fulfilled
the prophesy, 'Without Screech, Meech is a fouled beach. But when the great
dark bird of the night alights onto the watery droppings of the leaders of the
land, a great renting of the land will occur and water will fill this rent and
flow throughout the country, carrying away the droppings - rent free. Verily,
verily I say unto you', he said in his redundant way.
I hope this clears the water,
Pat

Are you trying to say that you like Brian Mulrooney as a person but
disagree with his political views?

| Pat,
Are you saying that Mulroney is a really neat guy, and that you
would find it fun to hang out at the 7-11 with him? Gosh oh gee
though, as a PM, he's not really hunky dory though?

323.8 | agreement NOT ... | MAGOS::WILSON_D | VAXft Manufacturing - Engineering | Wed Jun 27 1990 19:24 | 13 |

it is generally know that "the hudson bay project" that will feed
water to the mississippi is part of the free trade agreement, and
not at all associated with "the hudson bay agreement" that is currently
under discussion over a dinner of beluga on the barge, HRM Mila.
news amongst the press is that quebec will agree to the proposed
formula if and only if the barge navigates south to the united
states. it is believe that quebec can maintain greater cultural
idenitfy if canada becomes another territory of the united states.
only problem, bush is saying he does not want the grand canal, and
so presently the "the hudson bay agreement" is on thin ice.

with a totally incomprehensible statement like that makes me worry
about a potential outbreak of whirly-twirlies once the transfer is
complete!

| Il'l have you know that I want to keep Newfoundland part of the kingdom
of Qubec (ou la rpublique du Qubec), first we get la Brador back and
second we get all these tax dollars from sale of screech (THE best
rum). However, this has nothing to do with the present topic, so I
will just have to mention "L'accord de la Baie" and be done with it.

| Do you want to know the real reason why Newfoundland rejected the Meech
Lake Accord.
They figure if Quebec separates, then it won't be so far for them to
drive to Toronto.

Now I don't get it. Are they moving New Brunswick closer to Toronto?
