While on business in Seattle, Washington, I saw a news item from
Mount Whistler, BC. They were describing how they cater to
Japanese tourists with complete packages which, included wedding
at the chapel, stay at the ski lodge, and various optional
activities like helicopter rides or horse back rides (within
season).
Mount Whistler is about 100 KM from Vancouver BC. This is about
1800 KM from Banff where you were asking about.

I have always though that the old hotels built by the Canadian railroad
companies are the most elegant, and suitable for a special occasion
like a wedding. Here are the names of three that you might want to
write to and ask if they can arrange a wedding for you:
