I'm planning to go to Canada on our honeymoon in this coming September.
We certainly don't like package tours and decided to plan it free.
First we fly from Tokyo to Vancouver, stay a couple of days around there,
drive to Rocky, staying one night inbetween, a couple of days around Banff,
fly from Calgary to Victoria, one night there, then fly home from Vancouver.
Airline tickets and rental car are set up OK.
But my travel agent is now having a hard time to get the hotel reservations,
especially in Banff and at the place between Vancouver and Rocky.
He says all the famous hotels are already full and he doesn't have any idea
to contact other alternate hotels from Tokyo.
Anyone know any good (not too famous) hotels in or around Banff? And somewhere
on the way from Vancouver to Rocky? -- Maybe Penticton, Kelowna, or Kamloops.

| I took a similar trip several years ago but I went further to the
Yellowstone. Don't worry about place to sleep, there are a lot of
motels and hotels. Most of them I think cannot be booked in Tokyo.
I did not pre-arrange any accommodation. Hope you will have a nice
and unforgetable honeymoon in Canada.
