| AH COME ON, RUSHTON, GIVE US A BREAK!!!!
I saw them beat the Cards 5-4 last night on ESPn mind you it was
last Monday's game. I'd love to know what the standings are at
the moment.
The Guardian says they beat the Pirates 5-4 and the Mets lost to
the Cubs 6-5. But I don't know how many games they are behind the
Mets. the papers here give you the score but never the standings.
Help us out, will ya Pat.
Ted.

| Hello Glenn,
Any idea where the Expos are in the today. The Guardian in England
had scores that showed that every team in the National League East
lost to every team in the West.
But they very seldom give you the standings.

| Glenn,
Do you have the time of the game on May 13? A group of us are road
tripping that day to stag a fellow employee and thought the big
O might be a good place to cool off after some of Montreal's steamier
sights before the stagger, oops, trip back to Ottawa.

games out of first!
Maybe this year.....

| re Before the move to Florida :-(
Is that for REAL??? Say it ain't so! I know FLorida is whining for a
team, and the Expos don't get HUGE crowds, but.....
I can think back to the innocent days of Jarry Parc & Rusty Staub, John
Boc-a-BELL-a & Co. It would be a very sad day if this were to happen

Don't start crying yet Tom.
The team is for sale but offers from outside Canada will not be
considered until 30 Sep, a deadline set by the Bronfmanns. They
want the team to remain in Montreal.
There have been reports in the news that the government of Quebec
is considering investing between $30 and $50 million dollars in
the team if other investors can be found to come up with the balance
of the $135M asking price. One government spokesman that I heard
justified it on the investment angle alone; he figures they could
make quite a handsome profit within a couple of years.

| The Expos lost in extra innings last night 3-2 snapping a 7 game
winning streak and are now 5 games out of first. If they want to stay
in Montreal, they better start winning again!
I think they're heading for Miami or Tampa. Hey it won't be the first
time a team has moved.

The Government getting into the baseball business? As if they didn't
heve enough other problems to worry about. Gee, do you think they will
be shelling out big bucks for free agents next year?
