Watch the monetary exchange. Canadian dollars versus Fraech Franc
changes but you might see a predictable trend and take opportunity
of it. Canada is a HUGE country; every province is unique. Your
Franco-phone will be welcome in Province de Quebec while English
in the remainder 9 provinces.
My home province is British Columbia. We have the Rockies and the
fjords of the western coast. Between Easter and beginning of summer
is the most pleasant time to visit BC.
Perhaps other folks can tell of their own home province.

You should visit or write your local consulate to get travel
information and information on the exchange rates.
Also your local library may have some canadian newspapers, where
the advertisements can give you some idea of the prices we pay for
goods and services.
I'll list some prices here from memory which will vary slightly
from province to province.

THe three major cities would have events year-round
ie Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver.
September and October are very good months weather wise to travel
in the country. At this time there are no bugs the scenery is very
nice and with local harvests the food is fresh and plentiful.
I will put in a pitch for my home province of Nova Scotia.
The Annapolis Valley is one of the more scenic parts of Canada.
Also this is where, in the early 1600's France had the first
settlement in North America. Near present day Annapolis Royal.
Also there is still a French speaking population there.

Brian

If you want a beautiful, small and "clean" city you have to come
to Canada's Capital, OTTAWA,Ontario. The best time would be around
Canada Day which is July 1st.Lots of things happening at that time
of year.

Darcy
