I am looking for some information regarding a Canadian law.
If it is in fact a law, since there have been conflicting stories
regarding it. I would appreciate any information.
A friend of mine has started his own business driving tractor
trailer into Canada (St. Catherine) hauling scrap iron. He was
convicted of DWI (Driving While Intoxicated) four years ago. Since
that time, he has quit drinking completely. The controversy is
around stories that Canada will _not_ let a person that was convicted
of DWI into the country, since DWI is a felony in the United States.
Could someone enlighten me, since I get tired of hearing arguments
that this is true or this is not true. When I have the facts, those
that I deal with will be informed. (As well as myself) Merci !
