2666.0. "INTEGER64/UNSIGNED64 support" by ZPPOLY::MONGKIA () Thu Apr 03 1997 07:24

PASCAL release note has a lengthy write out on what is not supported for
INTEGER64 and UNSIGNED64.

However, the PASCAL user manual and Language reference guide do not has a clear
explaination on what is not supported.

eg. DEC Pascal Language Reference Manual states :

 2.1.5  Subrange Types
	.
	.
	.
         National Debt = 1..92233720368 {subrange of base type INTEGER64}
	.
	.
	.

The above example in the manual is not really supported.

One of our big customer, Reuters has developed applications based on it and is
now waiting for the full implementation of INTERGER64/UNSIGNED64. Would like to
know how long do they need to wait ?

Thanks,
Mong-Kia Tan, DEC Singapore

    It is on the list, but I would suggest that Reuters not wait. They
    should change their code. The section in the release notes is still
    valid.
