1313.0. "Routing problem" by ZPOVC::SALLYCHOY () Thu Jun 05 1997 07:57
I have a routing problem here. The conectivity of two sites is
given below:
64K leased line
(Site A)DECbrouter90----------------------DECnis600(Site B)
Ethernet0(16.168.240.1) L602(16.158.64.1)
Serial0(16.253.68.1) W618-8-6(16.253.68.2)
RIP RIP
subnet mask 255.255.255.0 subnet mask 255.255.255.0
|
|Lan
|
NT server with
two ethernet cards
(RIP is enabled,
16.168.240.?)
|
|Lan
|
Wanrouter
|
|leased line
|
(Site C)
Site A has no problem traceroute(via DECnis in site B) to subnets in
site B, HGO or crl.dec.com except to sharking.pa.dec.com and
www-proxy.mro.dec.com. It stops at DECbrouter90 and says "Destination
host unreacheable". However, they are reacheable when the traceroute is
done in site B via the same Decnis 600. We have tested it with the
NT server in Site A power off but still no luck. Please advise...
Sally:-)
