Hi There, I believe the problem's in the OSPF Area number you've assigned to the serial interface. In order to communicate, the 2 routers must be in the same ospf area; I believe you'll want to use area 147.47.6.0; that seems to be the area in use in the topology. Verify this with the network administrator at University C- they must be able to tell you if the new DECbrouter should be in the same area (most likely). In the event there are OSPF problems, the DECbrouter should tell you why it's not synching up if you "debug ospf ?", then enter the appropriate debug level as displayed.... -Chuck O. >router ospf 2563 >network 147.47.156.0 0.0.0.255 area 210.119.144.0 >default-metric 110 |
