We have a customer that has a 14 node cluster. Three of the
nodes are VAX 4000 Model 705A systems that boot off their
own system disk. Each of them have a DEFQA FDDI card that works.
They would like to be able to boot these systems off a VAX 7000
via the FDDI.
At the >>> show config displays EZA0 as a device then it displays
the QBUS devices KZQSA and DEFQA, but doesn't call the DEFQA
a FQA device.
The systems are running console 2.4.
I've checked the other notes in the notes conference in reference
to the DEFQA. It doesn't seem to me that the DEFQA is a boot
device.
Am I correct?

Yes you are correct, it is not a boot device. | |||||
