Is there a single module 512mb memory option
for a VAX 4000 Model 700A?
A field engineer says that he removed the
original memory modules and installed a
single 512mb mem option a few months ago.
If there is such a module, I would like
to get the part number of the module and the
+5 and +12volt load and the watts.
I can find a 32, 64 and 128mb memory modules.

If a 512 MB MS690 variant doesn't show in our listings, it's probably third-party... | |||||

I would assume third party also.
Just remember 512 mb is all you can put in anyway. A 512 mb memory card
will appear to the firmware as four 128 mb cards. there is no support
in firmware for memory above 512 mb. A 512 mb card would probably use a
little less power and probably have a better mtbf assuming it is using
larger ram chips.
