Hi, A customer is porting an ACMS application from VAX ACMS 4.0 to ALPHA ACMS 4.1. After building the application on ALPHA , when they try to run it they are getting in sign_in the ACMS$_BADUSER message. I have checked and the user is defined in VMS and ACMS. They are passing the username in capital letters and with the exact length. On VAX the same application works o.k. What else can we check? Thanks, Haim G.

You need to make sure that the various ACMS file (UDF, DDF) are setup with the appropriate usernames and that the account where the CP runs out of is setup as /AGENT. BADUSER User is either not in the User Definition File or not in SYSUAF Bill |
