They may have their system set up in a non-standard way. The
IVP creates a log file that should show you where the problem
is. The ACMS$IVP account is created as part of the running
of the IVP. If the DEFAULT SYSUAF record has lower quotas
and the account setup does not explicitly set them, this could
result in errors..
Or, you could just skip the IVP and just try using ACMS.

| The customer's system account had the DCL commands DELETE and PURGE defined with
the /CONFIRM qualifier. Each time the procedure was deleting/purging, the
customer was reponding 'N'. We changed the symbols and the IVP ran fine.

If this happened during the installation, then there's a problem.
VMSINSTAL normally deletes all symbols so it doesn't run into
conflicts.
