U12 and younger No-results Soccer Debate featuring:
John Burrill, Pres., Greater Boston Bolts Soccer (against)
Dean Conway, MYSA Head Staate Coach (for)
Dr. Alan Goldberg, Dir. of Competive Advantage (for)
The first MYSA forum on NRB play featured a panel which
supported the idea. Now there will be some give and take.

FYI, Nashoba Valley opted for NRB play at the U-10 level for
the Spring season at their meeting on January 12. Only two of
20 towns voiced any form of disagreement.

| Small turnout, about 20 people. It was a disappointing evening.
John Burrill was not a very eloquent spokesman for the anti-NRB
group. NRB play is a given in Massachusetts for U-10 and below.
The next battleground is U-12.
The best question of the night came from Ross Weaver. Ross asked,
"When are the children old enough that their parents can deal
with the competition?"
This brings the focus back to the question, "What is the problem
to which NRB play is the proposed solution?" No clear answer.
