I have been following this conference for a long time (noting since 
'82) and over the past few months it seems that it is falling out of 
synch and favor. More conferences aren't really there and the 
interest in keeping it up to date might be less than desired.

What other means are available that suit the same purpose as 
VAXnotes? I know about newsgroups but they lack some of Vaxnotes' 
functionality.

I guess what I'm hoping is that the Digital community get together, 
put heads and code together, and maybe replicate what the DEC 
community did in the late 70s. Are we capable of that?
