| The conference is inaccessible due to file protection problems since
yesterday.
CHEFS::JORDAN is forwarding mail to a non-existent account and I cannot
find Chris Jordan in ELF.
Could someone please fix this problem?

| Looks as if the NOTES$LIBRARY directory there is unprotected so someone was
able to create an empty conference. Use CHEFS::MS-EXCHANGE.NOTE;10 as a
workaround. I'll contact the system managers.

Actually, all NOTES$LIBRARY directories should be properly protected. DEC
Notes' installation doesn't do it, but there are command procedures that do, and
they protect against more than someone issuing a CREATE CONFERENCE command.

| I see that yet again there's bogus empty conference files. Use
CHEFS::MS-EXCHANGE.NOTE;10 as a workaround. I have sent mail about this
(again!)

and the directory has a version_limit of four?

Then that would imply that someone has done some active system management
on the node, and that doesn't seem to be the case with this system.

The version_limit parameter could have been set ten years ago and
never modified.
