I'm having problems getting DTN access to PKO (DDI works just fine). Our local support people (once persuaded that Parker street was unlikely to have been disconnected from the DTN) have phoned the local Telco (BT). Do I need to do anything else ?

Where are you located? if you tell us that we would have some chance of trying to solve the problem! Your VMSmail account is not very explicit. If you are in the UK then you should contact CCS in Reading so that they can check the translations. It would also be helpful to let us have the full DTN number that you are trying to dial without success so that we can check that the number is in the valid DID range. Mike

For what it's worth, we "own" the whole number space for 223, which translates to +1(508)493-xxxx. If the author of .0 is having trouble connecting to any number in this range, then there is probably a problem with all numbers in this range indicating a translations problem in the PBX. There is always the possibility that the number dialed is vacant, which should result (if everything else is okay) in reaching the DIGITAL number not in service announcement. It could also be that there is a capacity problem somewhere, but I think that we would have heard other complaints if that were the problem.

Thanks To .1 and .2. yes I'm in the UK, specifically Edinburgh (EDO - DTN 824). I've been trying 223-2211 (reception) and 223-1530. I'll get onto CCS in REO. |
