| What's the deal with this? It shows up as a "Delete" again in the latest
update.

611.2 | Number Conflict! | GLRMAI::LOWE | | Mon Mar 31 1997 12:01 | 9 |
| John,
There is a conflict between the actual extension numbers assigned to
the homeworkers (1xxx) and the available DID range (5xxx). This is
being worked on but for the time being we were asked to delete the
entry.

| Hope is in sight but the aging infrastructure in DECparkis causing some
problems. We probably will be able to have these home workers actually as
extensions off DTN 830. As soon as there is a confirmed solution it will be
posted.

| I'm a home worker in the US, not the UK.
I'm calling DTN 830 numbers in DECPark.
I call these numbers A LOT.
Today (can't say about last Fri/Mon as they were out on holiday)
I'm encountering a new behaviour; ie first dial attempt via the
MCI 950-1022 access point to REO frequently fails.
Perhaps a DTN number translation/timing issue going across the PSTN?

611.5 | Call logged? | BEORN::16.44.0.15::BOWMAN | | Thu Apr 03 1997 07:38 | 10 |
| Dave,
Did you already log this as a call in the US? Please log a normal call first so
that this gets properly into the system.
It would be useful for us to have the number that you dialed, you don't need to
post that in the notes file though but it should be included in the call to hte
help desk.
