3507.0. "Question about STOP BITS in DECserver 90M" by TBJVOA::OHTANI (NPB-Japan Market Support) Wed Apr 23 1997 11:26
Hello, please advise about stop bits in DECserver 90M.
My customer uses a number of DECserver 90M as OpenVMS LAT
devices(LTAxxxxx), connecting their devices in DECservers.
Though he sets stop bit "1" in static (by 'change' command),
sometimes "2" might be set automatically in ports dynamically.
By DNAS V2.0 user guides, STOP BITS characteristic is changed dynamically
into "2" in case to set a port 'STOP BITS' "Dynamic" and case of port's
speed 134 bps.
What case is STOP BITS changed automatically except below?
Customer's question is whether it is bug or spec.
