Hi, A customer has a 90TL (BL45-11) which reloads about once a week. Show server status shows a high number of port parity errors (> 10000). The customer would like to know if it is an expected behaviour to reload if the the error counters exceed some max limit? The parity errors stem from a VERY bad modem line. thanks /hakan

>The customer would like to know if it is an expected behaviour to reload if the >the error counters exceed some max limit? No, the server shouldn't reload due to port parity errors. However, we have found problems in the past where bad input into a serial port would cause crashes due to various bugs. As far as I know, all known problems of this type have been fixed. Jim | |||||
