    Which Decservers support (apart from the DECserver700) support the 
    DDCMP protocol?

Not even the DS700, as you allude. It used to be that you could "tunnel" DDCMP in LAT, but even this scheme was never _supported_, either by the DECserver or by the VMS host. It just "worked". _None_ of the DECservers (or more properly, no DECserver operating software)
supports DDCMP.  Not even the DS700, as you allude. It used to be that you 
could "tunnel" DDCMP in LAT, but even this scheme was never _supported_, 
either by the DECserver or by the VMS host.  It just "worked".  I'm not sure
it will still work.
