3457.0. "900tm; problem w/ application giving 'OR' or 'OS' codes" by KAOT01::WATTERS () Thu Mar 06 1997 15:54
Customer has an application for a hospital that use to work fine when
he'd connect from his PC, thru a DECserver 90l+ and onto the system where
the application resides.
He then changed his DECserver 90l+ to DECserver 900tm.
Since then, when in dif'rnt menus, some keys don't work 'properly'.
For instance, while in the application, hitting 'PF3' brings you back
to the previous menu. But w/ the 900tm he gets an 'OR' displaying on the
screen, upon hitting the key a 2nd time; it works.
Same goes w/ the 'PF4' key; hits it once, he then gets an 'OS', hits it
a 2nd time; it does what it's suppose to do.
He used a ZStem term emulator, sethost, and KEYAterm from the PC.
Was using NAS v1.5 on 900tm; had him upgrade to v2.0(NAECO04020)
If it helps, he's noticed a lot of User Buffer Unavailable errors on the
server.

Any help would be greatly appreciated; (ie. he's now climbing the walls) :*)

I'll also get a LAT trace.
Thanks.
