3449.0. "Raw TCP and link shutdown" by ROMOIS::CIARAMELLA () Wed Feb 26 1997 00:54
Hello,
I am usimg a DECserver 700 with the software relase 2.0, that support
RAW TCP/IP. The RAW TCP socke is used to connect an host to one of the
port of the terminal server and get data from a serial device. The
problem is that after the first serial device transfer, the link is put
down from the socket associated to the serial port,
and the host socket goes in TIME_WAIT state.
There is any way to disable the socket shutdown done from the terminal
server port ?
