I hope this helps some. The SHOW SERVER STATUS command returns

Self-test Status: Normal
Software status: PC=0786CED8, SP=079C60DC, SR=2600, ME=00000000, C=0299

Can you tell me what this means?

I do have one other detail: the ISP operator I'm doing this for is trying out
I-Phone and RealAudio on the network (as in he's directly connected) and these
types of activities are real bandwidth hogs. Could it be that the collisions
on the network is causing the terminal servers to reboot? Just hazarding a
guess as I'm really at the end of my rope. Bears further observation, too.

Thanks in advance.

One of my customers was experiencing a V2.0 BL10-40 code 299 crash.
Servers in question were heavily-utilized 900TMs with all PPP users.
I opened an IPMT case and was supplied NAECO03020...so far so good.
That kit is on hold, so you would need to IPMT and may be asked to
provide dumpfiles.....but don't feel like the Lone Ranger :)

That seems to have done the trick, kimo sabe. Thanks heaps.

Took a while for me to post this note because I wanted to see how the
site would fare. So far so good.

    Just one thing: seems that the image mentioned in -.1 is field test;
any official released versions coming up. Not that I'm complaining,
    though.

    Heigh-ho, Silver! Away!
