545.0. "TSM retired????" by CSC32::D_SHAVEY () Fri May 09 1997 11:32

    Question:

    I have been seeing notes that TSM (terminal server manager) is retired
    and customers will not be able to obtain it. Is this true? Also it
    states the replacement it cASM (access server manager), which I see,
    but cASM does not support non-IP capable DECservers. Any info /pointers
    on where to find more information on this would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

Subj:	FW: I:FLASH Terminal Server Manager (TSM) retired R/B Access Server

Attached is information on TSM. It is retired but can still be ordered for
those people who need to manage legacy devices like DECserver 200's, 300's or
MUXservers.

I think that ASM only runs in 32-bit Windows, i.e. Windows 95 and Windows NT.
Perhaps it will also work under FX!32 on Alpha? Any comments?

Dave

The second line has a typo. Jon's real address is:

Note the "j" before the "@" character.
