My customer has some early versions of VNswitch modules. I was told that
there is an ECO to go from the DME 2 chip to the DME 3 chip. I have a VNswitch
that shows up as:
VNswitch900EX, 12 Eth 2 FastEth DME Pass 3,HW=06X0E1,RO=V1.5.4,#1130,SW=V1.5-001
Does this mean that it has the DME 3 chip in it? Also, will the DME 2 chip
show up as "DME Pass 2"?
Thanks,
Brad

| As far as I know, no pass 2 chips went to customers. Yes, the
version string would have indicated as pass 2 chip if the module
had one.

| Thanks,
Some of the modules were taken from Ed Buzzell's last VNswitch class here at
CXO. So we were not sure if they might have the "DME Pass 2" chips. We are
going to check them all today.
