872.0. "RA90EI problem with No usbl match dial addr" by STU03::RUEGGEN () Thu Apr 24 1997 08:50
Hello,
I have got a stange problem with a RouetAbout90EI.
Four people with Win95 PC's and ISDN card do an occasional
remote login.
I set up destinations with the relevant ISDN adresses in order
to limit access to those 4.
Two of those people have 8 digit numbers and two have 9 digit numbers.
Here comes the problem:
When one or two of the people with 8 digit numbers log in after the
router was reset everything works O.K.
When one of the people with 9 digit numbers logs in the session is
O.K. for him.
When he logs out and one of the people with 8 digit numbers tries
to log in again, he gets a "No usbl match dial addr".
When the other user with a 9 digit number logs in, there is no problem.
After the first user with a 9 digit number has logged in, none of the
users with an 8 digit number get in, unless the router is reset.
I know this sounds very bizzare, but this is a fact. This is
reproducable at will.
The router is running the following code:
RtAbt Acces EI/MP, Brouter: 1 Enet 1T1 1BRI,HW=1,RO=1,#403,SW=V2.0-2
Hostname: [not configured]
Boot ROM version 1.1 Watchdog timer enabled Auto-boot switch enabled
Where can I start to look ?

| That is undoubtedly the same problem reported in an earlier note...I
have fixed this bug, but after the most recent maintenance release was
frozen. If you want a quick fix I can point you to an image. If it
is any sort of customer problem then you should raise an IPMT.
