Unfortunately, the current VNswitch hardware is not able to
accumulate byte counters for traffic. This means that the router
manager utilization will always show as zero. The system does
support packet counters so you can tell if there is any traffic -
you just can't tell how much of an interface is being utilized.

Also, the release notes contain a complete list of the MIBS supported by that
version of the firmware.

They really require hardware support - we do have plans for
a modified Ethernet daughter card that will support byte counters.

just for my personal mind , how can customers see traffic
on VNs ports now , without plugging an analyseur or Rmon Probe

What do you mean by "see traffic"? See the actual packets and their contents?
Or see the traffic utilization of a port?
