RouteAbout Distributed Routing SW Training (25/26 March 97)

Outline of Course:

	2 day, primarily lecture based 

	Location: Reading UK

	No course fee

Purpose:

	To familiarize network specialists with the new V2 features
	of Distributed Routing SW (DRS), how best to deploy and to
	provide support. This will be applicable to both pre and
	post sales.

	OpenRoute SW (aka Proteon) will also be giving training
	on the new RouteAbout Access ISDN and ES products.

Expected Audience:

	Network Field Support Specialists
	NPB network support staff
	Staff interested in further course development potential
	

Outline:

The DRS course will be a series of topics at an advanced level, led by the 
SW development engineer responsible for that functionality. 
As an Engineering run event it will not have some of the "extras" 
usual with a conventional training event (no mint sweets or special pencils)
The presenters will not have formal training experience.

Each topic will include:

	Functionality overview
	
	Common applications

	Common problems and their resolution

		Trouble shooting approaches

	Upcoming new functionality for DRS V3

	Q + A

Target products: 

	V2 Distributed Routing SW for RouteAbout Access and Central
	EI and EW.

	A preview of the V3 Distributed Routing SW features, which will support
	the new AW900EP (Primary Rate) product.

	RouteAbout Access ISDN and ES training session 
	from OpenRoute SW staff (aka Proteon)

Pre-requesites:

	It will be assumed that the participant has an good
	understanding of general WAN networks and the RouteAbout 
	product line.
