Can anyone tell me how to configure an Access E1 ISDN interface for Australia. The SPD for V2 states it supports Australia but there is nothing in the Network Operations Guide section on ISDN for Australian Microlink. The European Product Marketing Document LJK-97-SU001 states on page 7 that Australia = AUS is this the correct value for the switch type and is it supported in version 2 of the code (RTACIP.LDB) I would appreciate any help as this will be our first ISDN install in Australia [Posted by WWW Notes gateway]

microlink is the 'old' australian standard, right? It is supported, just set the switch variant to AUSTEL (talk 6/net 2/set switch austel). You will also need the directory number from the PTT. There are no specific directions on a country-by-country basis in the documentation. Perhaps that would be a good idea for an enhancement... Tim |
