I think Neil is out for a few days so I'll attempt to help. 

� same subnet mask 255.255.255.252. I was unable to ping to the cisco ip add.
� from both side.

So did the RA think the FR network was up?. Check the following:

* t 5
+conf
+int 1

This should  indicate  if  the  link  is up.  Did you fully configure the FR
interface  on  the RA (Line speed, LMI type)?.  Did the FR sub-system report
any events:

* t 6
Config>events
ELS Config>disp sub frl all
* restart

� 1. Do they have any interoperability issue ?
� 2. if not can the two ser. port on the same subnet. ( if both side is Cisco
�    , they are do it, according to customer)
� 3. if possible plese advise how to configure and make it work?
