10047.0. "cannot use networker" by HTSC19::MASCOTTANG () Thu Jun 05 1997 07:00
I am trying to use networker ver 4.2a running in digital unix 4.2b . The
tape drive we are using is TZ885 and the tape used in this mini-library is
DLT (CompacTape IV) . The format for use is TZ88 20G (40G in compressed
mode). The device is /dev/nrmt0h , Media type chosen is tz88.
The problem is as follows :
1. When I use nwadmin to mount the tape , it gives the following the error :
Thu 16:41:37 media notice : volume "" on device "/dev/nrmt0h": read 10240 bytes, expected block size of 32768, check system device configuration , disabli...
Thu 16:41:42 /dev/nrmt0h tape label read, I/O error
2. When I try to configure the loaders , it does not allow me to do any
updating because it says :
"JukeBox lmf license is not installed properly" .
3) How can I change the tape drive configuration ?
Anyone has experience on it ? Any advice should be appreciated.
