On Sun Solaris, there is the command
set facl
to allow files access to specific user-id. Is there an equivalent
command on Digital Unix ? If there is, what version of DU ?

In DIGITAL UNIX V4.x you can use ACL's. You need kernel option DEC_ACL. See man setacl(1) -jari | |||||
