9996.0. "Spec for uuencode format" by IOSG::MARSHALL () Fri May 30 1997 10:02
Quickie: where can I find the spec for the 'uuencode' data format?
Obvious sources such as man pages, searching RFC titles, and even the full
DIGITAL UNIX doc set, don't show up anything - are the details even available?
'Most' of the encoding method can be worked out easily enough by trial and
error, but having the full spec would be handy in case there are any subtle
nuances.

Scott

| Don't know where the find the spec, but source is readily
available. I've compiled it with no problems on DOS and more obscure
OS's -- let me know if you'd like a copy.
