9992.0. "EHOSTDOWN meaning ..." by TAEC::GALLERI () Fri May 30 1997 06:42
Hi,
Does anybody knows if it is possible to have a `connect'
call returning EHOSTDOWN, on either INET or DECnet address
family ? In that case, what does it mean ?
More genrally, what is the *precise* meaning of the explanation in
`man errno' :
[EHOSTDOWN] Host is down
Indicates that a socket operation failed because the destination host
was down.
Thx,
Xav
