Hi,
We have a customer that upgraded form 3.2 to 4.0B. He was used to
use CDA Viewer to view postscript files. When trying to do it now
(from the console) it receives the message that the server does
not support postscript... Version 3.2 used Motif and now he
is using CDE, does CDE supports postscript viewing??? If no, what
should customer use??
Thanks in advance
Claudia

My preferred method for viewing postscript files is showps. It has many
advantages over dxvdoc.
Although dxvdoc ought to work. It does on my 4.0B system. In any case
it is not a problem or property of Motif or CDE but of the X-Server. So
there seems to be a problem with it. Do a xdpyinfo and look for the
extensions section. It should say something about DPS-Extension. If
not, where is it???
