Hi,
Next problem occured already 3 times, with an interval of approx. 1 month.
Configuration : 2 Digital UNIX servers (DU 4.0a)
Multia's with NetManage Chameleon 32nfs.
Other PC's with similar Chameleon SW.
The clients mount the NFS exported fileystems. Yesterday, this was not possible
anymore
Next message came on the client-side
"an error occurred in network provider NetManage Chameleon 32nfs."
"Error 21:no pcnfsd on server and authenticator undefined or invalid"
The pcnfsd was running. The output of rpcinfo also looked normal.
They did a "rcinet restart" but this didn't change anything.
The only solution is a reboot of the server.
Does someone has any idea about this problem,
What things might be observed if the error returns .
