9911.0. "LAT loses data since upgrading to v4.0b" by CSC32::D_MATTHIES () Wed May 21 1997 13:45
Hi All,
Here is the situation. My Customer is testing Dunix v4.0b for
their environment. They are currently running v3.2d-2. When they run
their application, that makes a LAT connection to a DECserver 700-16
port, everything works fine. When they bootup the system with v4.0b
and run the same application to the LAT device connecting to the same
DECserver/port they lose data. I am stressing that the only variable
is the Dunix version, and LAT version within, as this is a controlled
test bed. The Customer is going to provide me with network traces for
both connections so I can compare them.
Does this sound familiar to anyone as a known issue? Engineering
types. Is there any system/LAT changes at v4.0b that I need to look at
that might effect this type of connection? Any thoughts or suggestions
will be gratefully received.
