9899.0. "Tar patch for 2gb files" by NNTPD::"[email protected]" (Adrian Morrisson) Wed May 21 1997 00:00

Hi
A note posted in the alpha managers conference informs people about a
patch for tar files greater than 2gb . Is this patch available internally yet?

(Because the moment the message went out the calls came in)
Subject:	Tar

    Hi, Ken.

You can pick it up on decatl.alf.dec.com using anonymous ftp
    at the following location:

    ~ftp/pub/patches/misc/tar_for_files_gt_4gb

The customer can't get it here - internal only.
