Is there a trick to patching an OS twice using the new setld script? I installed a set of patches under v4.0b then I got a newer set of patches and tried to install them as well. I got an error saying the "Patch Tools" were not correct..I assume thats because it found the Patch tools from last time already installed and didn't install the new ones..I also found that the older patch tools are not unistallable... What is the proper procedure leo

Could you please send the log ? While the patch tools do not de-install, they automatically update themselves if there is a new version in the patch kit. | |||||

I had a customer encounter the same thing trying to install the latest 4.0b patch it (003) when patch kit 002 had been previously installed. dupatch did not install the newest patch tools, and then complained that the system did not have the latest patch tools. We worked around it by manually installed the latest patch tools subset with setld. That made dupatch much happier. I meant to QAR this, but have been too busy.
