Hi,
I've the following customer problem with unmoounting a rrip cd:
If he wants to unmount the cdrom, he gets a device busy error.
The cd is mounted like this
#mount -dr -t cdfs -o rrip /dev/rz4c /cdrom
I know from note 3441, that he can use the scu, but what is causing
the problem ?
Any hints ?
He uses DUNIX V4.0-564
Thank you a lot advance.

| 9796.1 | Has someone cd'd to a directory? | NNTPD::"[email protected]" | Brian Haley | Tue May 13 1997 11:40 | 13 |
Hi, If someone does a "cd /cdrom" you won't be able to unmount the disk. Check that all users aren't in any of the cd's directories. I usually run into this when I use pushd and popd. Answering the following might give someone more info on how to help you: 1. If you mount it, can you immediately unmount it? 2. What are you doing with the cd (setld, running software from it, ...)? -Brian [Posted by WWW Notes gateway] | |||||
