Hello,
We are facing a big problem at one of the major telecom vendors.
We have installed Advantagecluster server with 2x2100 servers running
Digital Unix 3.2d-2,Decsafe,Decnet-OSI, Oracle 7.3.2.3.
The customer has LAN connectivity through Dechub900 with 3 No. Dec Repeater
90TS and connectivity with the Alcatel Switch through Decnis600.
PC are running dos,Windows for Workgroup, PCTCP ( Onnet 2.1 ) and Sqlnet.
RAID5 has been configured on ALphaserver with HSZ40 RAID controller card.
One partition of RAID is being exported onto the PCs.
The Alpha server has ISA VGA card P/N 1021935211
Of late after sometime intermittently the display disappears from the console
and even after the monitor power is reset the monitor remains in sleep mode.
Meanwhile on the PC side also the PCs working with the exported disk keep on
working without problem but fresh PC which try to Login face a problem
doing so.
iostat and ps commands show nothing unusual.
Can anybody help me on this ?
