	Hi ,

	My customer detects a problem with the tlz09 tapes.

	He has one Alphastation 255/233 with Digital Unix 4.0B.
	When he uses tar on tape with rmt0h device randomly he cannot
	read writed tape. He has changed tlz09 tape, and the firmware 
	tape 0167  is changed but the problem is still present.
	
	The customer has too, another  Alphastation 255/233 with same problem,
	but the operating system verion is Digital Unix 3.2G. He has tried 
	to use TLZ09 tape on all this systems and also he, randomly, cannot 
	read writed tapes, but the same tapes writed on the TLZ09 can be read
	on a TLZ06 drive. He uses tar or vrestore or restore ( the same
        errors when he is extracting the files ).

	On MAGTAPE conference there are some notes on this problem. One of this 
	( note 3541.1 ) the solution is:

	I was looking for the blitz and I obtain the following solution:

      RESOLUTION/WORKAROUND:                                                  
                                                                              
      Fixes have been generated for versions of Digital UNIX which already    
      support the AlphaStation 255/233 and the AlphaServer 2100A 5/250.       
      These fixes will be available worldwide from Digital's Customer Support 
      Centers, as shown in the following table. Please obtain and install     
      the appropriate patch.

    I was looking for and checking the magtape and ask_ssag notes
    conferences. 
    I need to find the patch for version 3.2G  and version 4.0A.
