9637.0. "4100 RCM and com1 port questions" by CSC32::B_GRUBBS () Mon Apr 28 1997 13:10
Can anyone explain the interaction of the RCM port and com1
on a 4100 in terms of Digital UNIX?
IS a modem on the RCM port accessible via tty00 on DUNIX or
do you have to have a seperate modem for RCM acess and one
for DUNIX dialin/out access?
I've found the 4100 system docs so I understand there is a sort
of combo controller that runs com1 and rcm and limits the baud
rate to 9600. I just dont understand what my restrictions are
in terms of using the RCM port and com1 and the same time...
anyone?
thanks,
--Bert
