Hi For some reason I'm running into a problem with a current install on a 4100 system. It continually fails on the kernel build after either a base or full subset install...? I bring it up to multi-user mode with the original kernel and try a doconfig with the same results, it does mention ace_regbase is undefined. Anyone else see this problem? Hi, Steve.
I'm pretty sure you need to re-run the ECU in order to fix
this. It's a little different on a 4100 too - I've got some
specifics but I can't get to the notes right now - NFS server
is down.
I'll try to place them here later...

Lee

You also want to make sure that ace is include in your config
file in /sys/conf/XXX where XXX is the system name. It should
look like this:
controller ace0 at eisa0 slot 8 vector aceintr
controller ace1 at eisa0 slot 9 vector aceintr
though I suppose things like slot numbers may vary. We ran into
this problem when setting up our rawhide.
